Feeling dark and blue.

You just got to love the filthy bass synth and the lovely vocals. Beautiful track here that I really have a connection with, truly artful production that takes the proggy trance enthusiast to a new level of instrumental appreciation, truly beautiful 'synthaesia.' This track's ability to keep a dance-floor moving should not even begin to be questioned... while it is more downtempo and dark than most club tracks - I'd say it is a nice 3-4am addition to a late-night set. Wake 'em up with something beautiful, production that can take your mind to places that I can't even begin to describe. That little high-pitched melody that comes and goes mixed in with that wonderful classic Nic Chagall stab really does it for me. The drums too, really nice and laid back so as to better compliment the more downtempo instrumentation in the synthwork... Can you say ultimate come-down song of the winter of 2009? I can. Ravers can go get loved-up.

Dark loopy vocs. Massive super-euphoria inducing club hit here, gotta love the dark loopy vocs, delayed synth melody mixed with that wonderfully memorable lead line, it just can't be beaten. This is certainly a huge hit for the summer, a locked-in candidate for any trance/proggy DJ playing a big festival or club night... This is the best type of proggy trance - super trippy, yet, super banging at the same time, it just doesn't get better than that. I'd have to say though, the portion of the song that really made fall in love is definetly the chopped up vocal samples that go on throughout the track. Love the effect when it seems like other people are talking in the back of the track during the breakdown, mixed with the pads and top notch drum work, you have the ingredients for a summer banger of epic proportion. WOOT!

Do you see it the way i do?

On my MSN, there is this whole list of friends. I categorise them according to nationalities. Singaporeans on the left, Non-Singaporeans on the right.
(To keep this observation fair and non-bias, samples are of the same age group and same occupation.)

I take a look at their nicks/aliases/what's-on-your mind messages.
I realise this.
3/4 of Singaporeans in my list have written messages like "no $$ no brother", "I scare kena fired!", "Pursuing the life i want.", "Only god knows which career path i should follow", "This month's target met! YAY!", "First house!", "To be no.1!", "Wooooooo, ferrari!", "rushing assignments now.", "kan sibei stress. DND!", "sleep deprived sheep.mehhhhhh~~", "class of my own...".
As morbid as some of the messages might sound. But yea..
The remaining 1/4 has messages that contains innuendoes that relates to the 3/4.

Welcome to the Non-Singaporean side of the ring, we have "my weekend starts today!" (which happens to be only Wednesday.) "London here we come again and again and again!", "Do the giggity giggity", "Counting down to trance energy 2009!", "Smashed, like everyday, what's new?", "Don't stop the music! biatch!"

Do you see what i see? I find it...couldn't find of a better word. Oppressive.
Am i chickening out of the society that i had grown up in?

Your economy no enough. Lucky i is in Australia.

"We are now facing a potential worst economic melt down, since 1997. The finance minister had said that it might take a couple of years before this recession can see any sunshine beyond the greying clouds. The same would be like you - preparing to go for a picnic at East Coast Park and the sky gives you the finger: "Not today pal."
Yes. The economy outlook is that bad. Some MPs want to help you with systems in place but have no clue what systems they are. "What systems did you say sir?"

Okie, I'm not an economist or an analyst. But I do keep track of what "Front Men" in charge of certain big corporations say. Like GIC. And when Dr. Tony Tan, Chairman of GIC (former Deputy Prime Minister) comes out to tell Singaporeans it's okay we are still hanging on, everything is fine, no panic needed; it's usually a sign that says YOU"D BETTER PREPARE YOURSELF.

How bad?
-Banks are going to stop lending $$. And even if they do, just look at the interest rates they are offering. Banks said they were going for 3Rs. Reduce employment, Re-use copy paper and Retrenchment exercise. Good workout guys.
-More job cuts.
-More news on job cuts.
-More girls find bankers less appealing. Lawyers rejoice.
-More girls going to feel that gentlemanliness fluctuates with the economy.
-MOS closed down. The party people should write to the Ministry of Sound and demand an explaination from the Minister in charge.
-Rich people complaining about foreign workers dormitory.

How stinking bad?
-Your utility bills just went up 21% ..thats like another quater more of your bill. Singapore Power is government owned and being privatised. Ideal way to confused customers/citizens. For public or Profits?
-Your transport cost went up by a few cents. SMRT belongs to Temesek Holdings, which is headed by Ms Ho Ching, who is wife of PM Lee. Are customers/citizens confused already? Public or Profits?
-Your hospital ward charges went up. Your Medi-Save contribution, you can't claim unless each time your bill is S$ 30.00 or more. Public or Profits?
-Your Singtel local fixed line also going up. S$10 bucks more. Government owed Company. Publlic or Profits?
-GIC made a return of 18% on investments. And your stinking CPF interest rate is a fantastic 2.5%. Where the fk is the rest of the money?!

What can I say? ...Seeeeeee Bye!"
